A 1 year surveillance study of glycopeptide-intermediate Staphylococcus aureus strains in a French hospital

There are a couple of reference errors in the population analysis profile section of the Materials and methods in the above article. The correct text is shown below:

Population analysis profile

For each strain with Etest vancomycin and teicoplanin values of ≥4 mg/L, the popluation analysis profile (PAP) method was performed at the Limoges hospital laboratory as described by Hiramatsu et al.2 and the PAP–area under the curve (PAP–AUC) ratio method was performed at the Department of Microbiology at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, UK as previously described.5

The authors apologize for the errors.
