Biofilms, homoserine lactones and biocide susceptibility

In the Methods section of this article it was incorrectly stated that biofilm susceptibility studies were carried out in Luria Broth. Biofilm susceptibility studies were in fact carried out in a simple salts medium.1
The authors apologize for this oversight.
