Erratum

Intrapulmonary penetration of linezolid

In Table2 of this article the figures purporting to be the ratio of epithelial lining fluid to serum concentrations are incorrect. The values given were in fact the ratio of epithelial lining fluid to macrophage concentration.

A corrected version of Table 2 is reproduced in full below. This error also affected the final sentence of the Results section of the synopsis where the epithelial lining fluid/serum ratio for linezolid was stated to be 8.7, it should have been 2.06.

The authors and Journal would like to offer their apologies that this error was not picked up and corrected prior to publication.
