In June 2003, a possible case of duplicate publication involving this journal (JAC) and the American Journal of Medicine (AJM) was brought to our attention by AJM and, shortly afterwards, independently by a member of JACs Editorial Board.
The JAC article concerned [JAC (2003) 51, 12618]1 is entitled Risk factors and treatment outcomes in osteomyelitis and appeared in the May issue having been published online on 28
